How a hotel inside a national park understands its responsibility to the ecosystem and the community.
Hotel Isla Múcura sits in the heart of Corales del Rosario y San Bernardo National Natural Park. That is both a privilege and a responsibility: to care for the marine and land ecosystem that hosts it, and to build a relationship of respect and mutual development with the communities of the archipelago.

Energy-efficiency practices, waste reduction and responsible water use; conservation of local habitats and species; a circular economy to make the most of resources and minimize waste.

Support for projects that strengthen education, the local economy and the quality of life of the people of the archipelago, plus experiences such as artisanal fishing with local fishermen that give value to their craft.
Conscious tourism
Mostly human-powered water activities so the reef is not harmed, tours that observe without disturbing (plankton, jellyfish) and a standing invitation to guests: leave no trash, don’t touch the coral, take nothing with you.
