Luggage limit on the boat
The boats from Cartagena and Tolú allow 8 kg per person and one carry-on bag. Bring only what you can hold on your lap. If you need to transport more, let the hotel know in advance.
A soft-sided bag or backpack is more practical than a hard-shell suitcase: it fits better and withstands the humidity.
What you don’t need
Beach towels (the hotel provides them), formal clothing and heels, a hair dryer and several pairs of shoes. You also don’t need to bring food: there is a restaurant, a bar and room service.
If you’d like your own liquor, you can bring it with a corkage fee of $50,000 COP per bottle.
