How do I get to Isla Múcura? +
By boat from Cartagena (La Bodeguita dock, gate 4; departure 9:00 AM, about 2 hours) or from Tolú (departure 12:00 PM, 1 hour). Cartagena and Montería have daily flights; Tolú–Coveñas is served by Rápido Ochoa and Expreso Brasilia buses. Book your boat spot with the hotel.
Is there a day pass? +
Yes: $420,000 COP per person from Cartagena (groups of 14+ on scheduled dates) and $310,000 COP from Tolú. Includes round-trip boat, welcome drink, premium lunch and use of the private beach, with access to common areas, volleyball, soccer and aerobics.
What are the check-in and check-out times? +
Check-in from 1:00 PM. The exact check-out time is being confirmed (between 9:00 and 10:30 AM depending on the source); we'll confirm it when you book. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at the front desk and enjoy the island.
Can I bring my pet? +
We're 100% pet friendly. The cost is $60,000 COP per night (tax included). Breeds categorized as dangerous must use a muzzle; remember to bring something to pick up after them. On the boat, they travel in your arms or in their carrier.
What does the meal plan include? +
Breakfast, lunch and dinner with a beverage (non-alcoholic), for $249,000 COP per person per day.
Is there wifi and cell signal? +
Yes, there's wifi for guests. Cell signal is weak across much of the island; the carriers with coverage reported by the hotel are Claro and Tigo (the FAQ also mentions Movistar). There are no ATMs: bring cash.
